Brandon/Pyramidalis Cedars (Thuja Occidentalis Brandon): **Currently out of stock**
Brandon Cedars are a beautiful forest green; and their dense columnar shape make them an excellent hedging plant. When field grown you will notice that the top of Brandons are much broader than the Emerald Cedars. This plant can be kept to a height of 5 – 6 feet, or can be left to grow to a height of 20 feet and will grow about 12-16in per year. Width is generally 4 – 6 feet if you let it. Plants will benefit from an annual shearing to keep a more compact, full appearance. These trees grow slightly taller, faster and bushier than the Emerald Cedar. Space Brandons at 2 foot centres to form a good, solid hedge. Like the Emerald, the Brandon cedar prefers full sun and average levels of atmospheric moisture.
